New News!
Hello Friends!
I have so much to
tell you! First off we have lots of
BRAND NEW CLASSES and some of your old favorites too. We think that these are some of the best
classes yet. We have the French Braid
Twist and don’t forget Saturn and Jupiter table runner from Margaret Millers
templates and patterns. They are just
awesome and Chris has her Radiant Star quilt along with A Walk in Provence,
just to name a few. You’ll want to stop
by and see these awesome quilts as well as the others.
Pfaff convention was
a great big success! We now have FIVE
brand new machines all with a TEN INCH OPENING and DUAL LIGHTS! Come in for a free no obligation
demonstration and see what’s new! We also
have Q-Bot available for any who want it with their
Grand Quilter and frame.
Camp Thimbleberries
is on Saturday, September 13 & Sunday, the 14th from 10am to 5pm. We’ll be holding it at Mobile Town and have
two wonderful projects for you to sew.
First a table runner and also a charm pack quilt. These two projects will be made from Debbie Beaves fabric line, Violetta. They are beautiful fabrics with lavender and
greens.
We also have two
blockbuster classes being held the 3rd Saturday of the month and the 2nd Tuesday
of the month…….”A Quilter’s Diary” by Mimi Dietrich is a quilt that tells a
story of your life and the major events you want to record. For example, you make the wedding ring block
for when you got married or make a dog bone block for your favorite pet. We’ll make two blocks each time and within a
year or less we’ll have a quilt. We’ll
also embroider your label for you to tell the story of each of the blocks. The other class is a “STASHBUSTER” class from
the book “Quilts from Lavender Hill Farm” by Darlene Zimmerman. We’ll make a project each month from her book
starting in September through August of next year. Beautiful projects to make and you use fabric
from your stash to make these projects thereby making you feel good about using
what you have. Sounds like fun doesn’t
it?
We have new Block of
the Month by the name of “Back Home Again” that will last seven months. Six months for making the blocks and one for
finishing the quilt. There are extra
projects too. This quilt is made from
Civil War fabrics that come in the
cutest suitcase box. You can
choose from a wonderful blue border or chocolate brown. We think that this is an unusual BOM that
will be fun and historical too.
Stay in tune with
what is going on by watching for our e-mails.
We’ll be sending them out frequently and have surprises to entice you
too. So if you if you aren’t signed up
for our e-mail list please do or you just might miss out on something special!
As always, we thank
you so much for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you all
soon!
